At the Antiquarian, Rare and Collectable Books section of Better World Books, it is not only our goal to fund literacy all over the world, but we will also stop at nothing to find new homes for the books entrusted to us, and we've got a lot of them!
That's why we're selling these ENORMOUS Gaylords (large cardboard containers) of books, averaging around half a ton (or 1,100 lbs), made up of books which are very much like the ones we already sell via our auctions here on eBay. They are pre-1970 books on just about any topic from Art to Zoology. Many, if not most, are ex-library. You get the whole enchilada for only $125.
These books may be about anything from law to logarithms, and they come loosely piled in a large cardboard container measuring about four feet to a side. We haven't formally assessed the constituent books in these lots, and can make no guarantees about the condition, subject, or resale value. But given our previous experience with items just like these, we estimate the resale value to average $5 to $10 per book, with the possibility for a few high-priced gems.
We have another listing for groups of ten of these boxes at the excellently low rate of $990 per lot. Save money and buy in bulk!
We ship by the lowest published rate from the ZIP code 46545 to yours, as calculated by Freight101.
The lots are offered as-is. No returns or refunds.
Payment must be made immediately through PayPal, but if you need to make different arrangements, please contact us before buying.
