You are bidding on a 2004 reprint of a rare, vintage children's print. The little girl is picking flowers as a huge St Bernard watches over her. The title is " AN ANXIOUS GUARDIAN ". The art painting is by J. Adams, circa 1937. This was first published by B.D. Co. in 1937. This beautiful reprint was done in 2004 by Collectors Press. It is printed on very heavy, premium acid free paper stock. The colors are dark and very colorful, striking! Collectors Press is world famous for their superior, high quality products. This was printed in a standard very easy- to- frame 11 by 14 inches size. It has a light blue border ( self-matted ). The image size is 9 and 1/2 inches by 13 inches. It can be matted with a different color border to match your decor, if you wish. Almost all stores that carry picture frames have the 11 by 14 inch frame size in stock. Very easy to frame with an off the shelf frame at Wal-mart, Target etc. etc. Ideal for your children's room or play room, rec room etc. and a really great, low, low price. I have 11 other prints from this same Collectors Press series....all featuring children.....all from vintage, out of print, rare lithographs. Fabulous decorating prints! I have 2 additional St. Bernard / Children prints from this fabulous series. The artwork on the other 2 prints is by J. Adams and Henry Hintermeister. I also have a vintage, original 1930's ink blotter...mint, old, original titled "Hide and Seek" ( little girl hiding behind a St Bernard). Sold separately on Ebay. Please see my listings. Condition is absolutely mint, uncirculated. Perfect! No flaws... period. Because it is printed on very heavy paper, I do not want to roll it.
