This is the LM380 Audio Power Amplifier IC Design Kit. It includes the very popular LM380 2.5Watt Audio Power Amplifier IC in a DIP-8 package. This audio amplifier IC has an internal fixed gain of 34db. The output automatically self-centers to one-half of the supply voltage. The output is short-circuit proof with internal thermal limiting. This kit also includes plenty of 1/4 Watt 5% Carbon Film Resistors, Aluminum & Ceramic Disc Capacitors, Signal & Power Diodes, NPN & PNP Transistors, various Trimpots, LEDs, Electret Microphones, a 9V Battery Clip, 8-Ohm Miniature Speakers, Pushbutton Switches, and RCA Phono Jacks. There is also some Electronic Hardware to interface your circuit to the outside world.

To help you further develop your circuit, you also get a 162 plated-thru holes Printed Circuit Board. The PCB has 4 mounting holes, is 1.1" x 2.0", is double-sided, and is made of FR-4.

Uses include simple phonograph amplifiers, microphone power amplifier, intercoms, line drivers, teaching machine outputs, alarms, ultrasonic drivers, TV sound systems, AM-FM radios, small servo drivers, power converters, and much more !!
