Up for BUY IT NOW is this very unique vintage WOOD  PLANK  WING BACK CONFESSIONAL  CHAIR.  This chair can span the gamete of decorating as it would be very much at home in a rustic lodge or log cabin décor, however, this eclectically mixed into the middle of a modern room with mostly modern furnishings and reupholstered, possibly lacquered would turn it into a majestic piece.

Mostly solid wood plank construction with nicely crafted front feet and armrest  and confessional wing privacy panel sides, this chair has so much character that it can easily become a decorator’s secret weapon of sorts though a redo and easy reupholster of the cushions.

They foam cushions are good for continued use; the metal springing seat base is very strong and will endue many years of continued life and use.  The solid construction of this chair can take a beating and still be around to be sat in, who doesn’t love an almost indestructible chair.

This chair was produced by Kling Colonial, whom I believe sold through Ethan Allen stores in the 1970’s… it was tagged with the by line of “Authentic Colonial… meticulously crafted.”

Measures Approx.:  44½” tall at back, 29” wide, 31” deep overall, 16” to top of seat cushion and 23” to armrest.
