We are delighted to offer this Mixed Metal & Inlaid Stone Chess Set by Los Castillo!

  It has a mid-century style,  this set was purchased in Mexico, at the Los Castillo Plateros De Taxco Shop and comes with a copy of the statement invoice dated 1984 and signed by master craftsman Antonio Castillo Teran.  That is the purchase date, not the date that it was crafted.  A one of a kind!

It is complete, each piece is masterfully crafted as shown.  The king measures 3 1/2" and the pawn 2 1/2" so you can see the range in sizes of the pieces.  I can find no signature on the pieces themselves.  I have shown front and back views. They all have a stone inlay and are a delight.   The pieces are in excellent condition - with a few really tiny flea dings. The crown on one of the kings is loose but is an easy fix.  No damage.  Just an amazing treasure!

The pieces come in their original wood chess board case which is also in Excellent condition.

Please note that we will ship internationally, but will only ship it Internation Global EXPRESS, which will track it and insure it and this method is more expensive.
