LOT 25 Vintage Movie Film Lobby Posters Signs 1960 to 1982
Nice lot for movie buff/collector, decorator, or re-sale online, or
at flea markets, themed shows, etc. Mixed genre - comedy, drama &
horror...
I've started with a huge lot and have been selling these
individually for quite some time ($9.99 ea+), but now it's time to
move them out to make room for new inventory...
All are approximately 14" w x 11". Conditions vary - see description
& photos below. If no date on actual poster, date below is the
initial release year for the film. I initially researched all of the
posters and I have
included some additional info - stars, directors, etc. below. No
duplicates - but there is more than one poster/card for some of the
same films.
1962 DISNEY BON VOYAGE
Starring Fred MacMurray, Jane Wymans, Michael Callan & Deborah
Walley
Does have some edge wear & creases in margins & corners (and
thumbtack corner marks).
Also some other scratches. Nice cafe scene that should still display
pretty well framed.
1970 LEO THE LAST
UNITED ARTISTS CORPORATION, 70/177, John Boorman director
Starring Marcello Mastroianni, Billie Whitelaw, Calvin Lockhart
Does have some edge wear & creases in margin corners (mostly at
top).
Small piece of masking tape on right margin on back & a little of
the black background is wrong at top right area.
1967 SMASHING TIME (one / sofa)
COPYRIGHT 1967 SELMUR PRODUCTIONS 68/37. (this one shows couple on
sofa)
Starring Rita Tushingham, Lynn Redgrave & Michael York
Good color but does have some edge wear & creases in margin corners.

This one also has some additional corner area creasing especially
top right corner.
1969 SINFUL DAVEY - (girl on this one)
UNITED ARTISTS CORP., 69/115.
The adventure/crime/comedy film, directed by John Huston, is based
on the autobiography of David Haggart entitled The Life Of David
Haggart.
Starring John Hurt, Pamela Franklin, Nigel Davenport, Ronald Fraser
Does have some edge wear & creases in margin corners. This one also
has a piece of masking tape on back at edge.
1969 SINFUL I DAVEY - (in kilts on this one)

Good color but does have some edge wear & creases in margin corners.
This one also has some staining on about lower 2". The part with the
airplane looks good, but the title and lower margin, etc. is
readable, but quite stained.
Worst condition of all.

*MYSTERY POSTER* (only 1 I was never able to identify in the entire
lot I started with)
Totally unmarked ! Black & White. No clue what movie this is from.
Does have some edge wear, mostly corners. Paper not as heavy as some
of the others.
1973 WALKING TALL
CINERAMA RELEASING - 73/65
Starring Joe Don Baker
Poster shows what appears to be a group of women being arrested and
herded onto an old Chevy school bus.
Based on the life of Tennessee sheriff Buford Pusser whom almost
single-handily cleaned up his small town of crime and corruption...
Does have some edge wear, mostly corners.
1981 PATERNITY
Paramount Pictures - 810118.
Starring Burt Reynolds, Beverly D'Angelo & Norman Fell
Does have some edge wear & creases in margins & corners & some at
the title box.
This one also has some surface wear - but should look too bad framed
for display.
1970 SKULLDUGGERY
UNIVERSAL PICTURES, 70/85
"The Tropit...was it Human?...Animal? or the living descendent of
the missing link!..."
Starring Burt reynolds, Susan Clark, Roger Carmel
Does have some edge wear & creases in margin corners. This one also
has a piece of masking tape on back at edge.
1978 THE ONE AND ONLY
PARAMOUNT PICTURES, 780009 Directed by Carl Reiner
Starring Henry Winkler and Kim Darby
Does have some edge wear & creases in margin corners. This one also
has a bad obvious full length crease down the left side about 2
inches from the side.
Far from perfect, but if you happen to need a poster with Henry
Winkler dressed as a woman, well, here it is!
1970 GIRLY
CINERAMA RELEASING CORPORATION - 70/234.
Very strange British Horror/Suspense/Comedy starring Vanessa Howard,
Michael Bryant, Pat Heywood, Ursula Howells
Does have some edge wear, mostly corners & some other marks or
scratches.
This one also has odd streaks of ink loss across the picture.
1980 AMERICAN GIGOLO
Paramount Pictures - 800004.
Starring Richard Gere & Lauren Hutton
Does have some edge wear & creases in margins or corners.
1978 OLIVER'S STORY
PARAMOUNT - 780191
Sequel to Love Story, starring Ryan O'Neal Candice Bergen
Poster shows O'Neal in bed looking over at nightstand with photo of
deceased wife.
Does have some edge wear, mostly corners.
1962 THE FRIGHTENED CITY (men in restaurant or club on this one)
62/329 (handwritten on back in pen ink)
No names or other info printed on poster. Handwritten in white box -
"Sean Connery in the Frightened City"
(movie also stars Herbert Lom) Gangster/crime related theme.
Does have some edge wear, mostly corners and a spot at the bottom.

No names or other info printed on poster. Stamped in red in white
box - "The Frightened City"
The movie stars Sean Connery & Herbert Lom in gangster/crime related
theme.
Does have some heavy edge wear, mostly corners, and some other
creases or marks, including a surface ink loss or ding towards right
side.
1962 THE FRIGHTENED CITY (man on ground - I think? but not 100% sure
this is another one from THE FRIGHTENED CITY)
1962., but it is totally unmarked and I can't find this exact scene
listed elsewhere.
Does have some heavy edge wear, mostly corners, and some other
creases or marks & about a 1/2 " tear at bottom edge.
1962 SOMETHING WILD
United Artists Corp. 62/67
Starring Carroll Baker, Ralph Meeker & Jean Stapleton Does have some
edge wear & creases in margins & corners.
Paper not as heavy as some...
