We are pleased to offer for sale this lot of vintage ladies lipsticks dating back to the 1950's and 1960's. Here is what we have the “24 Carat Gold Plated” as stamped on the back of the tube....TABU lipstick that is embossed with the signature “TABU” printed on the front in black lettering. The tube measures just over 2" and is in good condition...some wear to the top of the tube and bottom sticker has almost all worn off. Next is a plane gold tube that measures 1 3/4" in size. Some wear but overall condition of this tube is excellent. Next is a tube of AVON Dew Lip....this measures 2 1/4" tall and is gold tone with a pink enamel over the tube with 4 gold dew drops on one side. Paper label underneath is intact. All the previous tubes are empty...the next set (three in a small red vinyl case with tiny white stars printed on it) are un-used and are stamped under neath with the following....”Naylon Cyclone” then “Naylon Barbarian” then “Naylon Wild Strawberry.” These 3 goldtone tubes measure 1 3/4" each and have a center design engraved on each tube. Lastly, we have what we thought was a 1 1/4" goldtone lipstick tube only to find out it opens up to reveal a small cigarette holder measuring 2 ½" long with a black plastic holder. The bottom of the tube is stamped “Patent Pending SCOPE.” Winning bidder gets them all.......fun for any collection...ENJOY!
