Since 1974 the Louët team in Holland has been designing and manufacturing well-balanced spinning wheels which have been engineered to be easy-to-use, durable, low-maintenance, aesthetically pleasing, and productive. These wheels treadle lightly, are easy to learn on, and can be modified to satisfy the most expert spinner. This S10 wheel has been designed to be suitable for spinning fine, medium to bulky yarns. These bobbins and flyer are for spinning medium to heavy yarns. Technically, all models are the same. Each wheel has a single belt bobbin drive with an adjustable flyer brake to regulate the tension. The fly wheels of all models are 20" in diameter.

The large capacity bobbins can contain between 150-200 (5-7 oz) grams of wool.

Suits beginners as well as accomplished spinners.

It runs very smooth!
