Shipping
Please keep the following in mind when scoring us for shipping cost and delivery time:
Starting January 1, 2009, the United States Postal Service (USPS) raised its rates - AGAIN. The shipping charges you see are automatically calculated by the USPS, and are based not only on the weight of the item, but also on the size of the box in which it is packed. Excluding Sundays and holidays, we will ship your item the same day payment is received, and if the post office is open.
WE HAVE SAME DAY SHIPPING: If you pay for your item before 3:00 pm Texas time (our post office closes at 4:00 pm), we will ship your item that same afternoon - unless of course, it is a Sunday or postal holiday. Thus we feel it is appropriate to ask you score us 5 stars in the "Shipping Time" category when leaving us feedback. We should not be penalized for the length of time it takes the postal service to deliver your package, as that is out of our control.
WE DO NOT SHIP OUR ITEMS IN FLIMSY MAILING ENVELOPES: Prior to shipping, we stuff each item with paper, and carefully wrap and package it inside proper mailing boxes - . This is a more expensive way to ship as it can add a little weight, however the items arrive safely, with no damage from being handled enroute.
** DOMESTIC BUYERS PLEASE READ **
We use USPS Priority shipping for all domestic shipping. From the day your item leaves our hands, it usually takes 2-3 additional days to reach you. We also provide you with a delivery confirmation number which can also be used for tracking.
***INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE READ***
Please know that we will ship your item the SAME DAY we receive your payment, depending on postal hours, Sundays, or postal holidays. For all International shipments, we use USPS International Priority mail. This means that from the day your item leaves our hands, it can take between 6-10 postal business days to reach your country, but DOES NOT INCLUDE the additional time it takes to clear your customs, be dispatched to your local post office, and then delivered to you. If you need your item delivered faster, please contact us for Express shipping rates.
A delivery confirmation number will also be provided once package has been shipped. Insurance is optional, though highly recommended, and the very minimal fee is determined by the USPS based on the final sale price of the item. If you would like to purchase insurance, please let us know and we will add it to your invoice.
***VAT/Import fees***
This item is located in the United States. If you are in another country, you may have certain import or VAT fees. These fees are determined by your customs and by the declared value for the item. We have had many requests that we declare a lesser value for items in order to avoid those extra fees. We can absolutely do that, but know that we can only insure the item for it's declared value.
