
This is a divine picture frame made in Germany circa 1900 by the famous WMF Company. It has been decorated with swirling flowers and leaves surrounded by a frieze of half pearls with continue to surround the center where the picture goes. The top is adorned with scrolls and parallel lines. The interior has been professionally re-lined with fine Moiré. The original metal lined back in very good condition to its age with slight wear as pictured. It has the original the folding easel and original closing mechanism, see pictures please. All details are crisp and clear. The Old Silver finish is in excellent condition. It is fully hallmarked to the base Ostrich WMF G, OX, i and I/O; the easel is also marked I/O. It measures almost 9 ¼ high, 4 ½ wide to the top and 6 1/8 wide to the bottom; to the oval where the picture goes it measures 5 1/8 by 3 1/8. It is illustrated in their 1913 Catalogue on page 456 with the Nº 133. I am currently offering another frame if you prefer to have a pair
