 This unit is considered a "Ventless" tankless water heaters, requiring it to be used in an area that has natural ventilation.   It must be installed with a clearance of 12" to the top ceiling surface.  It may NOT be installed horizontally, but must be installed vertically as shown in the photos. It must be protected from weather and elements such as rain and wind.  Actual water temp. at output will be determined by incoming water temp.  This unit is not recommended in colder regions - or if your holding tank has incoming water temps below 55 degrees.  If you're using for a licensed concession trailer, or the like- please make sure you're familiar with the minimum output water temp required.
