LRG GIRARD TOY STEEL WINDUP FIRE TRUCK BATTERY LIGHTS

Vintage 1920/30's Girard Pressed Steel Fire Truck with Rubber Wheels. I know it is missing some items but I don't know what they are. Over all it is in pretty good shape for it's age. The windup mechanism works and the truck moves. The wires for the lights are there as are the sockets just no bulbs, so I don't know if the battery part works. It's marked Girard Balloon on the tires and has 2 wood ladders. It is 14 3/4"L x 5"W x 5"H.

A: Hi Dave thanks for your question. I bought this in New Orleans before Katrina from a toy antique dealer. The ladders were on it when I purchased it. That's the best I can tell you. Barry

A: Hi and thanks for the question. The paint looks original as far as I can see. I looked at the small chips along the running board and only see one color. I bought it at an Estate Sale in Toledo 4 years ago. Barry
