Muse Series Acoustic Electric Parlor Guitar

The Muse Parlor guitar is the refreshing modern-day descendant of a family of small-bodied instruments that date to the late 19th and early 20th centuries when guitars provided accompaniment for singers entertaining family and friends in intimate settings. The Muse Parlor capably demonstrates that a small, comfortable guitar can deliver superb tones!

The Muse Parlor guitar packs incredibly robust sound into a traditional parlor-size cutaway body. The guitar features a solid sitka spruce top over exotic African bubinga back and sides. A maple/ rosewood/ maple binding wraps the top. Like its sister Muses, the Parlor guitar is characterized by the pleasingly intricate Celtic knotwork design inlaid in rosewood around the soundhole. The mystical elements of the instrument's Celtic heritage are beautifully married to a traditional instrument that traces its design roots back more than a century.

Inlaid in rosewood around the soundhole is a crescent-shaped Celtic knotwork design…intricate, circular, at once both ancient and contemporary.

Luna's signature logo is inlaid in Abalone on Luna's gently curved rosewood headstock. Elegant and durable brushed nickel tuners provide smooth, precise adjustment.

Luna's artistic designer included a delightful little surprise for Muse players by adding a touch of magic to the guitars' heelcaps. Inlaid in rosewood is a tiny triskele. In Celtic lore, the triple spiral is associated with the interplay of earth, water and sky. It also symbolizes the cycle of life, death and rebirth and the triad of maiden, mother and crone. The triskele has been found in a number of Celtic sacred sites.
