This well-struck 1906-D $10 Liberty Head Gold Eagle has been graded Choice MS64 by PCGS. Original mint luster glows with slight hints of apricot mingled in the brilliant gold hue.  This coin has fewer bag marks than the standard MS64 from this mintage. The devices are intricately detailed on both sides, and the fields are satin-smooth.

 

Very few pieces of the original 1906 Denver mintage have survived to grade at Gem MS64+ with reputable professional grading services like PCGS.
