Lutein & Zeaxanthin
Lutein & Zeaxanthin are the natural essential in the color pigment of Carotenoids family, Lutein and Zeaxanthin can be found in tissues in many part of human body, the most important part is in the eyeball especially in lens and retina at the macula point, which most important because it is the area the retina can identify the vision most clearly. In the nature, there are more than 600 types can be found in Macula that are Lutein and Zeaxanthin. Their functions are reducing the oxidant and filter blue light which might effect to damage the eyes, thus they work as a sunglasses in helping to restrain the degeneration of our retina.
Lutein and Zeaxanthin: Mostly we can found them in yellow or dark green vegetables and fruits such as corn, cabbage, spinach, kale and Chinese spinach.
Lutein and Zeaxanthin: Lutein and Zeaxanthin benefit for pretecting many diseases, especially catarach and age-related macula degeneration, heart diseases and coronary heart disease and reduce some of cancers effect.
Cataracts: Cataracts are a clouding of the eye lens condition, make the light is unable to get through the eyes as normally. The quanitity of dim vision depends on how much cataract happen. Cataracts are not a contagious disease, but it can be happended to both of eyes sides and become much more slightly over year. It can be treated by the operation, but not to everyone, it also depends on each case. Therefore, the ophthalmologist will be an advisor and select the best way of the operation for patients.
