This is a genuine antique stone lithograph produced between 1870-1925.  It has been beautifully custom matted and framed. This display treats the quality antique with the respect it merits.  The outer dimensions of the frame are 21" x 17", the label is 7" x 6.5". The white design you see is cut into the mat, this is a beautiful professional matting job.

Spanish themes were particularly popular among cigar manufacturers of the early 20th century because it was an accepted fact that the finest tobaccos came from Cuba and the Spanish West Indies.  Even if a label was inherently American (manufactured in the U.S. and of an American concept) manufacturers would print Spanish terms to add credibiltiy to the label.  Manufactured in Indiana, "La Balca" is a prime example of an AmericanMade stone lithograph with a completely Spanish theme.
