The WS-2315CH Weather Station comes complete with a wind sensor, which measures wind speed and direction. There is also a rain sensor, which measures cumulative rainfall. These two sensors are connected to a third outdoor Temperature/Hygro sensor, which measures the outdoor temperature and humidity. The Temperature/Hygro sensor is also the wireless transmitter. This transmitter takes two C batteries and can send the wireless signal up to 330 feet back to the Home LCD Monitor. The system can also be hard wired with the included wiring kit if you desire. If you hard wire the system, the transmitter will be powered by the base station and will not require batteries. The WS-2315CH can be connected to a computer with the included Heavy Weather Software and cables. This allows you to up load 175 sets of weather data from the base station to generate your own graphs, spreadsheets and charts.
