La Moisson

I  forged steel to shapes that simulate stalks shooting out of the earth. Leaves made out of solid brass  flow above the stalks. Everything is ready for the harvest, that is why I named this work " La Moisson " which means the Harvest in French.

The steel was brushed to a satin like finish and the brass was polished to a fine luster. Everything is lacquered to preserve the finish and does not require any care.

This work is self standing and is finished in both front and back. It can be placed in an entrance way or the center piece in any area.  The piece is 39H by 20W.
