The mystery and fascination of Black Opal Triplets is that no two stones are exactly alike and which ever way the light strikes its face they display brilliant inner fires, pin Fires, or rolling broad flashes that delight the senses.
Sometimes blues and yellows, sometimes golden reds to deep red, aqua, blues & greens or a combination of all colors over a dark background (matrix ) these wonderful Lightning Ridge Black opals never cease to amaze the viewer with a display of ever changing color moods.
Some other aspects;
The opal when viewed by the naked eye shows more luminance and are more vibrant and flashy than what the camera depicts, this is due to the differences between the camera and our eyes as differences in viewing the actual opal and looking at a one dimensional plane like a photo make the stone and its colors appear flat. On the other hand the camera can pick up colors that are unseen by human eyes. Even different lighting source ( IE; sunlight, incandescent, neon, white light are all different ) even the colors displayed on the computer monitors show the stones colors differently although my camera tends to lean more towards the blue scale so a true representation is very difficult to obtain. Be assured;
The ring appearing in the display photo is the actual ring you will receive.
Black Opal deprives its name from the black matrix it is embedded with and can be any face color from greens, reds, yellows to blues or a combination of all colors. It is also the October birth stone.

It is a very interesting opal triplet in the lower grade category that are perfect for casual or knockabout occasions when you don’t want to subject your rings to the rough and tumble of every day wear and tear, yet still retain a piece that looks attractive.
This opal reveals itself best whenever subjected to a light source as the light strikes its face the reflected rays display its inner fires.
It is an appealing opal that would be ideal for any casual situation or an ideal ring for that daily work environment.

Returns: A 3 day grace period is accepted for returns, providing the item/s are not damaged or altered in any way, we will refund your win after it has been returned in a salable condition. All shipping or postal charges both ways are non refundable. A 20% restocking fee of the closing costs is charged to cover listing costs.
Shipping : Domestic Shipping; for items paid through paypal are set at $ 1.95 ( up to 10 oz ) plus .25 cents for each additional win.
We do combine multiple shipping for wins providing it is to the one address so you only have to pay the one shipping charge. However bulky items over 10 oz are charged extra at normal postal rates. These charges will be adjusted when we send out our money request/ invoice once all bids are completed within a 7 day period.
Payments: Made by Postal M/O or Bank Draft shipping is charged an extra $ 1.30 as a signature confirmation is required, otherwise charges are as above.
Insurance: is optional but we will insure at customers request so advise us otherwise items are sent under normal postage means. Items over $100 USD must be insured at normal postage rates which will be added to the final invoice .We use paypal as they have inbuilt insurance and good tracking features.
Items sent normal post outside the protection of paypal is the responsibility of the customeras once items leave our premises it is entirely beyond our control so no monetary liability is accepted and any items lost/stolen in transit is between the buyer and the relevant postal departments. We will however work very closely in assisting the customer to track down any lost consignments, but please be patient as postal investigations/ claims etc take time to follow up.

***All auction wins will be invoiced on day 7 (to allow for other bids results) all wins must be paid within 7 days on receipt of our invoice. We only give one ( 1 ) reminder and unpaid wins shall go into a 7 days holding period prior to being returned to stock with the repercussions that the errant bidder being recorded as a non payer and thereafter be denied any future transactions on this members auctions.
