Offered for sale is a Wall Art Quilt called "White Willow".
 
 
Quilt measures 48" wide by 48" long. It is machine made and extensively machine quilted, and includes a sleeve on the back for hanging. It is signed and dated by me.
 
 
This quilt is the lovely cover quilt from my

What makes this simple quilt so beautiful is the gorgeous fabric, all created by Lakehouse Dry Goods fabric company, and the extensive quilting.  The fabric is a representation of the classic Blue Willow china pattern.  The pictures speak for themselves.  Of course all monitors can show colors differently, and not all the pictures above are perfect representations of the color, but the blue is a lovely heather blue, just like it would appear on the china, with touches of blue gingham and dark royal blue (almost navy), and the white is bright and crisp but soft (the first 3 pictures represent this best). 
The quilting, all done free-motion, with no patterns or markings, consists of feathery swirls, arcs and background meandering. 
 
The backing fabric is another blue willow pattern, also from Lakehouse.
 
The materials, time and workmanship in this quilt would place it's value in the $400-$500 range. When I machine quilt a quilt of this size for a customer, with this level of detailed quilting, the cost of the quilting alone would be about $160. 
 
This quilt would look awesome as the focal point in a traditional or shabby chic garden room with lots of white wicker furniture (sorry the Artist Showcase program I use doesn't have this kind of furniture, but hopefully you get the idea.)  Of course, it doesn't have to hang.  It would be beautiful over a railing, on a quilt rack, or on the back of a chair.  It could even drape over a small table (but please use coasters !).
