"Dazzling Diamonds"

"Orange Diamond"















Offered for sale is a contemporary style Wall Art Quilt called "Orange Diamond".

Quilt measures 44" wide by 60" long. It is machine made and machine quilted, and includes a sleeve on the back for hanging.

Created in October 2004.

"Orange Diamond" is an example of my originally designed pattern, Dazzling Diamonds.


Dazzling Diamonds pattern

It was made to showcase an Asian and Halloween fabric line from Lakehouse Dry Goods.  The use of strong geometric fabrics and value contrast creates a very strong visual and graphic design, in which the diamond appears to float on the background.

The quilt is extensively free-motion quilted in a loop pattern with multicolor rayon thread.  The quilting adds lots of texture and organic contrast to the graphic piecing in the quilt.

All quilts are from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
