Brown Sheep LAMB'S PRIDE BULKY FELTED TOTE pattern






This listing is for the pattern to make the tote pictured. You will have done in a jiffy using any bulky weight wool! It is a perfect size at 12" x 11" after felting. The best part is that there are double pockets inside, which is made from one long piece and then seamed down the middle. It also has a pleat at the bottom (very easy to do!) to allow a little more room.

Specifics:

Needles: US size 10.5, 29” circular (The circular needles are needed for number of stitches for straps. Do not join, but work back and forth as if on straight needles.)

Gauge: 3 stitches + 4 rows = 1”

Yarn: any bulky wool yarn that will felt (not superwash wool)

Yarn used: Lamb’s Pride Bulky, 2 skeins each M-185 Aubergine (dark) and M-34 Victorian Pink (light) and 1 skein M-28 Chianti (medium). Each skein: 85% wool, 15% mohair, 4 ounces, 125 yards

Total Yardage: approximately 625 yards

Dimensions: approximately 12” x 11” felted, not including straps

Strap drop length: approximately 11” felted

Notions: yarn needle for seaming
