Large 9.75" Mid Century Mod Symmetrical Ivory Planter

Offered for auction: This is a really neat footed vase or planter, in a creamy off-white glaze, with a very symetrical asymetric shape! Very Eames-era (I hate saying that, but for once, I think it's accurate).

This heavy piece of pottery measures 9.75 inches long and 5.5 inches wide at the rim. It sits just under 4.5 inches at the highest point. The condition is very good to excellent, with no flaws that I can see. The interior is a bit darker due to use, but there are no chips or cracks or crazing that I can find.

The piece is unmarked; there are two exposed feet, so perhaps the make is Brush-McCoy (just a guess).
