Hi, thanks for stopping by one of my auctions. From an early age I have always been drawing or painting. I am a self taught artist. I was born in Stuttgart, Germany and moved to America at an early age. My parents were always supportive of my creativity and encouraged me to pursue my love for art. For my paintings I prefer the textures and blending abilities of acrylic paint. I find it rewarding to work with these paints for there vibrance and contrast abilities. For my sculptures I enjoy working with wood and stone primarily. These are strong materials of nature but can be shaped and formed to bring out unique soft feels that are appealing to the visual sense. The subjects I enjoy to paint are native americans as I am amazed and intrigued by Native American history and the beauty of there diverse cultures. I enjoy creating abstracts that have a certain funk and sway to them whether it is in a modern hip style or an alternative view of nature. Last but far from least, I enjoy painting marine scenes. I have been amazed by the beauty and ever changing scenery of the ocean and the animals that inhabit its realms ever since childhood. I hope that my marine artwork instills a certain beauty and appeal that will invoke others to see the ocean environments as I do and further a vision that will grow to a love as well as a caring attitude for the worlds oceans environments. The oceans just as the world in general deserve our love and our protection, it truly is an amazing world.
