Large Antique French Bronze Clock Japy Freres Works

This high quality antique bronze clock is from France and it dates to around 1900.  The clock body is made from heavy reticulated bronze castings that have a very pleasing original antique patina.  The eight day clockworks are by Japy Freres.  The clock runs very well and keeps excellent time.  The 8 day time and strike movement strikes once on the half-hour and tolls the hours with a beautiful sounding nickel bell.  The entire clock is in excellent antique condition with no damage of any significance.  Te pendulum is a correctly sized modern replacement.  Dimensions: 24” tall, 11” wide, 7“ deep.  Weight: 19 lbs (8.6 kg.).  Please be sure to check at the bottom of this listing to see if any corrections or answers to questions have been posted.
