Don't usually handle this type of law enforcement item, as I usually will only have badges and patches, but could not resist picking this up at local antique and collectibles show. Don't know if I am describing it the way I should but it is 10" across, about 13" high, and 3/4" thick. It appears to be made of a ceramic type material, weighs just abaout six pounds,and is made to fit into the poly vests. According to the seller, this is military grade, and even though it is an "older" plate, it is in brand new conditiion. It was described as a one shot plate. I am sorry if the description is not as strong as I would like it to be, but this was pretty much all that was told to me when I bought it. There are no manufacturer's markings on it anywhere, so I would appreciate any extra information anyone out there can give me.
