I am pleased to offer for your consideration this excellent CJ Meaders jug, in a large, probably 2 gallon size. The jug is 12.5" tall, and 28" around, and is fired in a dark alkaline glaze, probably one of the mixed glazes that were typical of the shop. It is confidently attributed to the C J Meaders shop, and it has the typical double line decoration around the shoulder.. Condition is excellent, with no damage or repair. The only condition note is a tiny glaze flake on the mouth and there are a couple of firing blisters on the handle, but they are under the glaze and have not "popped". This is a large piece in excellent condition. Shipping is priority mail in the US, and insurance is included. . Please check my other auctions for more quality Southern pottery.
