An attractive and unusual large art deco style mould blown glass figural vase/ lampbase, depicting archers below a frieze of large birds.
This design was created by Rene Lalique circa 1921 and can be seen in Lalique's 1932 catalogue as no. 893. However, this particular vase appears to be unsigned and lacks the protruding neck of the original, leading me to suspect that it may not have been made by Lalique. It appears to be contemporary with Lalique's original production, given the natural wear to the base and the use of Uranium glass which gives a strong glow under blacklight. For more discussion on this pattern, please see the GMB thread here.
It is a very attractive and impressive piece of glass, standing approximately 9 1/2 inches (24.5 cm) tall. Condition is generally good with just a few shallow chips to the top rim, as shown. There are no cracks, water damage or restoration. It is a fine looking vase and will make a great addition to any collection.

Thanks for looking
Good luck!
