We can ship almost anywhere in the world. Orders paid with credit card or PayPal will be shipped right away; for orders paid with money order, we will ship immediately following receipt of payment; for orders paid by personal check, we will usually ship ten (10) business days after our receipt of your check.
Shipping cost (which includes handling and insurance) for your item is a "Flat Rate" (UPS Ground for Continental U.S. orders) which is displayed in the auction listing AND at checkout.
Continental United States: Within the Continental U.S., our default shipping service is UPS Ground (3 to 7 business days), the cost determined by the Flat Rate provided. We ship to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico, as well, via United States Postal Service (USPS); for those destinations we will contact you with a shipping quote, or you can contact us prior to ordering (or auction close) for a quote.
For large items (furniture and the like), all shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the Winning Bidder; for these items, we provide a list of recommended shippers in our item description.

Once your order has shipped, Nine Caroline Antiques will send your tracking information via email. For all shipments sent via UPS, tracking information is usually available the next business day after the package has been shipped. You may check the status of your shipment at www.ups.com or by calling 1-800-pick-ups.
We do not ship via UPS to APO or FPO addresses or P.O. Boxes. Orders placed after 12 p.m. EST will not be shipped until the next business day. We do not ship any orders on Saturday or Sunday.
Our processing hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. Orders placed Monday through Thursday before 12 p.m. EST will usually be shipped within 48 hours unless we’re really buried or Aunt Gladys wandered off from the nursing home again or something. All other orders will be shipped the next business day. We will always endeavor to ship items within 48 hours of confirmed payment received. If you absolutely need an item right away, give us a call and we’ll do our absolute best to accommodate you.
*Please Note: We do not ship any orders on Friday, Saturday or Sunday as we are not in the office.
** Orders may be delayed due to incorrect address information, different shipping and billing address information, or availability of the product (for cleaning supplies or anything we stock and reorder).
For the majority of our international customers, we ship via the US Postal Service (USPS), Express and Priority. PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT offer USPS First Class shipping as an option, as this method is not currently trackable. USPS shipping requires at least 10 business days for the item to arrive to you. Your package will most likely be held at Customs and inspected. After passing inspection, the package is released to your country's respective national mailing service. Historically, we have found the total time for delivery to vary, with some packages arriving within 1 week and others within 1 month.
 OK, here's some more legal stuff ... International customers may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Your charge from Nine Caroline Antiques includes only the cost of your item(s) and the cost of shipping. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We also mark all of our packages as merchandise (not gifts) to fall in line with customs practices. Customs policies vary widely from country to country so please contact your local customs office if you desire further information.

We guarantee each item we sell for authenticity and condition, as represented in our descriptions and pictures. We offer a three-day return privilege, with a full refund of the purchase price, if the item is not as represented.
If the item's condition is as it was represented in the listing, but you decide that you just can't live with it, we'll be happy to refund the purchase price less a 20% restocking fee within that three day time period.
