This auction is for a good sized lot of House of Miniatures Furniture. These were all purchased in the mid 1980's.....over 20 years ago, and when I was a Collector Society member. I've provided below a complete list of what I believe is included here. Some of these have been built and finished. Some are built and unfinished/partially finished. Some are unbuilt, but no longer in the box. All parts appear to be present, except in one instance as noted below. Also included are three never opened NOS Chippendale kits. Please check out the list below and the photos. Even in the 1980's, one of these kits would sell for the opening price of this entire lot. A very good deal for anyone who collects or builds House of Miniatures furniture or other doll house furniture!
What's included:
1) 3 Un-opened Chippendale kits: Chippendale Wing Chair, Kit #40016; Chippendale Serpentine Chest, Kit #40050; Chippendale Single Low Post Bed, Kit #40060.
2) 2 unbuilt sets that are no longer in their box, but are still in the original bag that they came in: Chippendale Low Boy, Kit #40024 and Queen Anne Candlestand, Kit #40013. There are no instructions that I could find. All parts appear to be present.
3) Closed Cabinet Top, Kit #4001. Built, no finish applied. The hardware still needs to be added and is included: (this one still has the instructions);
4) Chippendale 3 drawer chest, Kit #40011. Built, no finish has been applied. The hardware needs to be added and is included. There are no instructions and my identification of the kit is based on an old order sheet where I kept track of items purchased;
5) Chippendale Dry Sink, Kit # 40019. Built, no finish applied. The hardware is missing, but may have gotten thrown in with one of the other kits. Only one handle is needed. There are no instructions and my identification of the kit is based on an old order sheet where I kept track of items purchased;
6) Hepplewhite Side Table, Kit #40004. Built, no finish applied. No instructions. Identification of kit based on old order sheet;
7) Chippendale Sideboard, Kit #40025. Built and Finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
8) Queen Anne Table, Kit #40038. Built and Finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
9) Chippendale Slant Front Desk, Kit #40042. Built and Finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
10) Chippendale Looking Glass, Kit #42403. Built and partially finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
11) Chippendale Sofa, Kit #40015. Built and partly finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
12) Chippendale Night Stand, Kit #40012. Built and Finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
13) William and Mary Clock, Kit #40018. Built and Finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
14) Chippendale Canopy Bed, Kit #40014. Built and partly finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. I can't remember if there was cloth included for the top or not Please see pictures below to see what is included.
15) Queen Anne Tilt Table, Kit #40008. Built and partly finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
16) Chippendale Chest on Chest, Kit #40009. Built and Finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
17) Hepplewhite Dining Table, Kit #40006. Built and partly finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. Some warping noted.
18) Two Side Chairs, Kit #40007. Built and partly finished. Identification of the kit based on the old order sheet. No missing parts.
Also included is the Spring/Summer 1983 House of Miniatures Catalog and inserts; and The House of Miniatures 32 page guide to American Furniture.
There are no stains or glue included with this lot. Those dried up long ago I'm afraid. But, for those of you who collect these, that should not be a problem. This is a chance to get some vintage pieces, many of which are likely discontinued in this form. If you don't like the way the finished pieces turned out for me, you can "refurbish" them to your liking. Please look at the photos below carefully. You should be able to identify the items I've listed. The last photo shows Kit #'s: 40001, 40024 and 40013.
Please note that the United States Post Office will be increasing its rates on May 12 for both Domestic and International shipping. In spite of recent fee hikes, my starting prices will remain as low as possible. However, I do reserve the right to end auctions early that have not been bid. I will never, under any circumstances, end an auction early that has received bids.

U.S. Postal Money Orders are prefered. Postal money orders are only available at a United States Post Office and can be cashed and verified immediately.
Personal or business checks, other bank money orders and cashiers checks are also accepted, but will require a wait of 10 business days to clear my bank after they arrive and are deposited. I deposit daily.
Paypal is also accepted. Authorized Paypal payments ship immediately.
Payments must arrive and clear my bank before I ship. If you use Paypal, the address you want me to ship to must be confirmed by Paypal. Check with Paypal if your're not sure.
International Buyers including Canada,must use Paypal. International bidders: please request a shipping quote before you bid. I will no longer ship First Class International, as it offers no tracking or insurance. This may make shipping costs prohibitive. A confirmed shipping address is required in Canada and the UK. Customs duties may apply. Please note: Auctions are not available to all International locations.
All US buyers not using Paypal: please contact me when you receive your invoice to advise how you will pay, when you will pay and if you need more time to pay. Shipping fees are actual and will include a handling fee as described below. Payment is expected within 7 days of auction end. I will refund amounts that are not needed to cover those increases. .
