Picturing the end of a warm summer day on coastal South Carolina. The birds of the marshland flying low in search of a good spot to land. The hunt, the warm breeze as it softly caresses the grass. The smell of salt carried on the warm air and the warmth of the dying light as is prepares to say goodbye for the day.

Great Egret Over the Marsh, he swoops in, cuts back and then glides into his place for one last meal before the end of the day. There's nothing like being there, seeing the stark white of these birds againt the colorful landscape. I hope everyone gets to take a moment out in their lives to watch them.
