Large Set of Haviland Limoges Silver Anniversary China

 Just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

This is a fine large set of antique French Limoges Porcelain made by Haviland & Co. The pattern is referred to as the Silver Anniversary pattern, or Schleiger #19. It is considered one of the most popular patterns of Haviland's china.

These classic pieces all are solid white, with a lovely scalloped edge trimmed in real gold. If you look closely, the golden edges have a slightly raised and sculpted quality to them.

There are enough place settings for 8 people. Altogether there are 89 pieces. The pieces are listed below. All items are in excellent condition, unless otherwise noted in parentheses.

Nine - 9 3/4" Dinner Plates
One  - 8 3/4" Luncheon Plate
Eight - 7 1/2" Salad Plates
Eight - 6 1/4" Bread and Butter Plates (1 with fading of gold trim, and 1 with a chip)

Eight - 7 1/2" Soup Bowls
Nine - 5" Sauce or Fruit Bowls (2 with fading of gold trim, but no chips)
Nine - 3 1/8" Salt or Butter Bowls (1 with a chip)

Eight - Double Handled Cups - for either cream soup or bouillon
Eight - Tea Cups
Sixteen - 5 3/8" Saucers - for both the Double Handled Cups and Tea Cups

One - 18" x 13 1/2" Oval Platter
One - 12 3/4" Circular Chop Plate or Platter (two chips on rim)
One - Gravy Boat with attached Under Plate
One - 8 3/4" Round Covered Vegetable Dish with Handles (one chip and hairline on lid)
