For Auction today with a modest reserve,  from our Private collection purchased from a New York City Auction House many years ago we offer a wonderful and RARE Vintage combination Wedgwood (only) Dip Jasperware Plaque Tablet Panel. We say Rare combo as the 3rd,4th,5th & 6th Cameos are from Lady Templetown & Wm Hackwood MATERNAL AFFECTION, the 1st & 2nd and the last three Cameos are SACRIFICE TO CUPID designed and modelled by John Flaxman. With beautiful Strong, Bold well executed undercutting (pic#3,4,5) this Wedgewood plaque shows true Craftsmanship and Artistry of Wedgwood's early pieces we estimate date to be 1840's-50's. This is a larger Plaque then are last one in October Measuring approx. 15." X 7.5" X 1.75" framed, the Plaque 11.5" X 4.5" it is being sold Excellent vintage condition with NO Chips, Cracks, Hairlines, Discoloring or Crazing....any blemish or discoloring is due to the reflection of the Glass, we see NO firing cracks, missing relief of stains. It is set in a double gold frame and covered with Glass with the outer frame being gilded GOLD leaf, also in excellent condition. We are starting this piece at a low price with LOW RESERVE so that new as well as sagged collectors can bid and enjoy. It would be a wonderful addition to any collection and of course a great gift to give with the "holidays around the corner".
