Up for bid is the rare coin pictured. This is a true auction with an opening bid of one cent and no reserve! Great early date, low mintage. Newcomb 1 overdate. Excellent filler with crystal clear 23. Coin exactly as shown. This gem, minted when James Monroe was president, would make a fantastic addition to any early copper collection. Uncertified, please view images and bid accordingly. Shipping on this item is $5. It will be sent first class with delivery confirmation and insurance. Not using Paypal and don't want insurance? Shipping lower; email. Multiple lot winners, consolidate by paying highest shipping charge ONLY, with adjustment for insurance; email for singular invoice. Shipping upgrades/downgrades available in most instances; email for reflective invoice (two day priority, allow about one week; first class, allow about two weeks). In instances in which I am behind schedule, I might bump up to a faster shipping service on my dime by foregoing insurance. International shipping usually $15 global priority.
*TERMS & CONDITIONS/RETURNS* Although I appreciate contact from buyers same day, simple contact is required within 72 hours of auction close; applicable payment to be received within 14 calendar days. I reserve the right to remove items from availability due to buyer lapse, with OR WITHOUT a payment reminder. I'm a hobbyist, not a department store. That said; sellers are NOT required to accept returns but I do, and my conditional return policy is simple: email FIRST with legitimate problem, then send item back exactly as shown and in my hands within 7 days of receipt, and recieve 100% credit towards any other auction I run within 30 days; or receive refund minus 15% restocking fee (30% if after 7 days). Refunds over $100 allow up to two weeks. Refunds will be in the same format as original payment. Funds are released AFTER brief positive feedback is left (with no reference to return). Return policy is not extended on items paid for after 7 days of win. My attribution/grade of a collectible is only as factual as the images I provide can support; any bidding on uncertified material should be solely based on said provided images. The 7 day window is necessary, due to some coins being sold on consignment with the contributor made to wait the 7 day period to receive funds from me. If a contributor has received funds from me, there are no returns; even if a coin turns out to be made out of tin. BUYER SHOULD INSPECT MATERIAL IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT. While I gaurantee all coins not bent unless otherwise noted, I cannot gaurantee any coin as uncleaned. Coins listed as "details", expect problems or discoloration associated with environmental exposure and/or cleaining. All comic books are gauranteed to have no coupons clipped unless otherwise noted. Returns are inconvenient for both buyer and seller; please ask any questions you may have BEFORE placing final bid. I reserve the right to not extend conditional return policy to any buyer who expresses disdain or discord with my terms and conditions. I do not accept returns simply because a buyer feels they have overpaid. When I auction items with no reserve, I have no recourse when items sell too low. I am prepared to be underpaid. By competing with others on a live, no-reserve-auction, all bidders should be prepared for either avenue likewise (you are not required to outbid anyone on this lot, do so at your own scrutiny). If you have no problems with my auction terms, then you should be able to DISREGARD the following: Paypal - If the ease of making a payment with the simple click of a button is preferred, please note any shipping requirements. If you are more concerned with shipping costs, email for alternative arrangements such as cash on pickup. In this auction please remember that I’m not required to accept paypal without insurance, and you’re not required to bid. No inflated reserves or bloated opening bids, no paying for shelf time here. No 20% auction-house "juice". This is a buyer-friendly NO RESERVE auction intended to be fun for all, and with opening bids at face value, almost all of my items end up selling for BELOW guide price. If you do not like my terms for accepting paypal, please do not bid. If you expect a genie to pop out of a bottle and hand you your item within 48 hours of your payment, please do not bid. My accepting returns is a privilege not a right; if you do not like my return policy, please do not bid.
