Larger Pc Rare OPAQUE BRIGHT ORANGE Beach Sea Glass

An ultra-rare piece of genuine opaque BRIGHT ORANGE beach picked sea glass, found on a remote beach in the Pacific Northwest. This piece is actually TWO layers of orange, in slightly different tones-- it is also LARGER than most orange sea glass I find.

Orange is widely recognized as the single rarest color in sea glass collecting. Much of the orange we find comes from "Amberina" art glass-- a decorative type of art glass from the early 1900s; the rest from the glass lenses of a few warning lamps. A few pieces come from other kinds of art glass-- I think this two-colored piece must be from one of these.

This very bright piece is in excellent condition with smooth all-over frosting and rounded edges; perfectly smooth, traces of an old crack on one side, but smoothed over. Measures almost 7/8" (22mm) long by 1/2" (13mm) across and is a little over 1/8" (3mm) thick, at thickest. Attractive larger example of this rarest of seaglass colors!

Priority Mail is used for bulkier and heavier items.
