In the pictures that we see here is a beautiful late 1800's English secretary slant top desk. The desk is in good condition with some small problems. The pull down part of the desk has some cracking on either side of it, on the inside of the small drawer in the inside of the desk and the middle shelf are some ink spills, and on the back of the desk some of the wood is peeling away (see pictures). The drawers and the key holes are made of fine brass. On the top of the desk is a Lacy brass top rail in very good condition. The desk is nicely equip with three drawers and various compartments in the inside of the desk. The desk measures 3'4" high, 31 1/2" wide and 28 1/4" deep when open. This desk would make a wonderful addition and add a flare of the 1800's to any home. xx947
