Lazy Magnifier Tabletop Magnifying glass - fine arts

An elegant tabletop magnifier that is extremely well made in the feel of the Art Nouveau style. This is based off of the kind of lens used by navigators to read the fine print on charts, but unlike the navigational design magnifier, there is no adjustment, which is why it is known as a 'Lazy Magnifier'. Wonderful for reading maps, fine print reference book and studying the fine detail in art prints or photographic contact sheets. Base is of polished solid brass and measures 4" across. 3x magnification. New, no problems.
