TERMS: I've had a string of crazy, unreasonable, lunatics bidding on my items (they really are almost all new ebayers who don't understand the process AT ALL), so I'm trying to clarify some of my terms so that there is no misunderstanding. These are my terms--please read them--if you don't like them, please feel free not to bid on my items (if you fall in the crazy category,you should be spending your time in therapy, not on ebay, anyway). These are my terms because they have to be my terms--I'm not trying to be difficult--these are just my terms, which is fine, and also fine if you don't like them. That's what makes America so wonderful. The terms fall into several categories--payment, shipping, email communications. Please take the time to read them. Also, if you just happen to be truly crazy, neurotic, or a lunatic, please don't bid on my items, and you might want to do something about that. I'm not kidding.

CONTACT ME WITH PAYPAL QUESTIONS!! I prefer money orders, and accept checks (14 day hold, and then I ship on my next mailing date, so if you want this faster, send a money order--sorry, but people send me checks that bounce!!). Contact me with paypal questions. Payment must be received w/in 7 days--I will notify you once, and then file a non-paying bidder after 7 days! (No, I won't send you another reminder, b/c after 8 years of doing this, I have found that 95% of NPB's back out immediately, and they are usually the new ebayers who then leave me a negative after not paying!!) Sorry, but I have people promise to pay all the time, and then they don't--this is the only way to get my fees back. Shipping and handling for this item is 3.75 continental US mail (shipping rates went up alot on 5/14/07!!).

-PLEASE-THIS IS A BIG ONE-all correspondence MUST INCLUDE AUCTION #/name/who it goes to. This is a big problem area with crazy people--there are lots of crazy people who write a check, insert it in an envelope, and put it in the mail, without identifying what the payment is for. I guess this is one of the first signs of a declining mind. Please think about it--w/out that info, I CAN'T GUESS or figure out what a payment is for, which means that your item will NOT be mailed until I can figure out who to send it to!! The story goes like this (and believe me, even though it makes no sense to me not to include what you are paying for, it happens all the time)--If you don't put the auction number on your payment, I will simply put it in a pile of unclaimed payments, and then you will be annoyed and contact me in about 10 days wanting to know where your item is, and I will say I haven't received it, but maybe it is in the unclaimed pile, and then we will discover it is, the buyer is very apologetic, and then I will have to start the whole process from the beginning (14 day hold, etc). If you don't want a delay, and you don't want this to become an unpleasant experience, PLEASE INSERT AUCTION # ON ALL CORRESPONDENCE--you'll be glad you did!!

I mail on Weds (usually, sometimes Thursday) AFTER payment is received by ME/clears (NOT when YOU send it, and there is a 14 day hold on checks). (Another problem area--there is a 14 day hold on checks--money orders mail first Weds. after I receive them--why do some people not understand this policy? They email that I shouldn't worry, THEIR check won't bounce, b/c they've been with the same bank for 23 years and never bounced a check..just as I receive notice that their check has bounced). If you have to pay with a check, it is going to take longer. Thank you very much!

VERY IMPORTANT INFO RE E-MAILING ME AND COMMUNICATIONS:  (This is the #1 lunatic problem---people who are furious with me for not answering their emails when really it is they who blocked my responses and my emails have been sitting in a spam folder!!) If you any spam or junk mail blocker on your e-mail program, you will have to add my e-mail address as a safe contact or check your junk mail in some cases, because that's where responses to you might be! 

I am doing this in my spare time (very little, really, b/c of all those crazy people I am dealing with), and I have 5 young children--this means I am not on the computer 24/7 (usually just during naptime, and NEVER at night or on weekends). That should mean to you that I am not a corporation or a business---I am just a mom trying to clean out some stuff and make a little money for summer camps. YOU SHOULD EXPECT DELAYS IN THE SUMMER MONTHS or during school vacations! If you have a question, you only have to e-mail once--I will get back to you, but it may take a day or two (which means multiple emails to me will just delay the response time, and if you email me more than twice, I tend to get annoyed)--I will answer you when I can.

I am not responsible for broken or lost items-insurance is 1.75 if interested in $50 worth of coverage-please let me know WHEN YOU SUBMIT PAYMENT (not in an email before paying--I won't remember) if you are insuring your item, so I make note of it. PLEASE INCLUDE INSURANCE IF YOU WANT TO BE SURE OF ITEM'S ARRIVAL--I mail USPS--without insurance, there is NO way to track a package, so please don't email me for a tracking number--There is no tracking number--if you want a tracking number, you should bid on another seller who provides tracking numbers--tracking numbers cost money, and 99.9% of my items arrive in a timely fashion.
