Keith Wyatt Bio
Keith Wyatt has spent decades studying the styles of major rock and blues artists. After graduating from Guitar Institute of Technology's first class, Keith joined the faculty, helped develop the curriculum, and later served as G.I.T.'s Director of Programs. Keith's years as a renowned educator have given him a unique insight into the best ways of developing and teaching phrasing and style.
Keith Wyatt has been teaching, performing and recording for over 20 years. He joined the staff at the Guitar Institute of Technology in 1978 and became director of curriculum in 1987. Popular videos by Keith include: Guitar Basics, Blues Guitar, Electric Slide Guitar, Acoustic Slide Guitar. He is also the author of numerous magazine columns, articles, instructional books and audio tapes, and conducts seminars all over the world.
