Major Diatonic is the "Traditional Blues Tuning" for the Contemporary Harmonica. It is the most commonly used tuning for playing Blues, Rock, Country, Folk & Jazz.

Lee Oskar in collaboration with TOMBO of Japan has developed "The Lee Oskar Harmonica System" which features a Harmonica with Replaceable Reed Plates available in Every Key as an Exclusive Standard Feature on every model in their Product Line .

With this Replaceable Reed Plate System the Harmonica Player doesn't have to throw out the whole harmonica because one reed has become fatigued. Simply purchase a "New" set of Reed Plates and create a "New" Harmonica at about half the cost. The Original Comb and Cover Plates are recycled into the rebuilt harmonica. This simple process involves only three screws, two nuts and bolts.
