Occasionally there may be some marring or small scratches on the pieces due to packaging and shipment from the manufacturer. This will not affect the use of the bricks. The size of Legos are measured by the number of studs (bumps or dots) in length, width and height. The measurement given (i.e. 1x2 Brick) has nothing to do with inches, centimeters, etc. FOR EXAMPLE: a 2x4 Brick means this is a brick that is 2 studs in width by 4 studs in length. A 1x2x5 Brick means this is a brick that is 1 stud in width by 2 studs in length by 5 bricks high. DO NOT BUY THESE FOR SMALL CHILDREN (under 5 years of age).
