Presented for your bidding and Lego creating pleasure is this used Lego Mindstorm Robotics Invention Kit # 9719 with most components. The RCX has 3 input ports for sensors and
3 output ports for motors, lights, and other output devices. All of the programming is done on your computer then downloaded into the RCX. I understand that this was one of the first core sets (1998). It has been recommended especial for robot building beginnners.

Please see photos for what you will receive. I think that at least 90% of the parts are present. All parts appear to be in good used condition.

I am pretty clueless when it comes to Mindstorm, but I have checked the RCX Version 1.0 Microcomputer and it appears to be working (it turns on and the little man in the window runs when you press "run"). Unfortunately, I am unable to test anything else - I have no battery block to test the mini-motors and my Mac computer can't run the CD ROM software. Please note that the infrared transmitter requires a 9-pin serial port on your PC. I will do my very best to answer any questions you might have.

As you can see from the photos, there are 2 mini-motors, a light senor and a touch sensor (one touch sensor is missing) and lots of other nice pieces, such as gears. . Also included is the Constructocopedia and User Guide for the software.

PLEASE NOTE!!!

You may notice that shipping is high - it based on shipping the parts in the original box, within a larger outer box, which brings the weight up to 7-8 lbs. If you do not wish the original box, I can safely pack all these components in a smaller box (as well as a large flat-rate Priority Mail Box) and save you approximately half the shipping costs. If yours is the winning bid, let me know your preference.

Hence the low starting bid, reasonable shipping options, and no pesky reserve.
