Here we have a pair of Leica Trinovid 12x50 BA binoculars in unused condition in the original box with all manufacturer-supplied accessories.  They are big brutal lighthouses that will absolutely flatten your 10x40s no matter how expensive or good quality they are in terms of resolution and low light performance. Trinovid 12x50s cut through the darkness like a lighting bolt with brilliant razor sharp optics from edge to edge. All users will appreciate the power and performance. In particular, older users will find that the extremely high twilight factor of 24.5 will literally funnel a beam of bright light into their eyes which cannot accept much more than the 4.2mm exit pupil they provide. They are the right binoculars from dawn until dusk, and surprisingly lightweight for a 50mm lens: only 44 ounces. Don't let the powerful 12x magnification deceive you. Due to the large moments of inertia in two directions which arise from the long barrels, there is surprisingly little shake. The sharpness will blow you away. Think of it as a 10x40 binocular from a bigger, brighter and altogether better world.
