Leica Elmarit R 24 mm 2.8 Original 3 cam version made for the Leicaflex SL2 , R3 , R4 . R5 , R6 , R7 R8 and R9 SLR.  Extremely high performance wide angle optic .  I have used it on both film and digital cameras and found it to be an extraordinary performer. Can be used on Leicaflex SL2 , R series R3 , R3mot , R4 , R4s , R4sp R5 , R6 , R7 and R8  models . Lenses of this quality have also may come back in use for people who want to adapt them to high megapixel cameras.  I have gotten superb results with this lens on a Canon 5 D and 10 mp rebel XT I digital cameras with an adapter.  ( not included ) minimum focus of 18 inches . Lens is outstanding for all uses. Fantastic color performance even wide open.  The barrel shows little use and is very smooth.  Glass is in excellent condition free of scratches or haze .  80;s vintage .  Made in Wetzlar Germany by E.
