Description : specs: The 1512 rotary microtome was especially designed for the preparation of various paraffin-embedded specimens in histology and pathology. • High-quality and corrosion-resistant materials. • Long service life and lasting sectioning precision. • All common knife types up to 170 mm long can be used. • Integrated safety guard for maximum safety. • Various specimen clamps available. • Section thickness range from 1 to 25 um. All controls are placed on the front of the microtome ensuring convenient operation during the setting of section thicknesses, the controlled sectioning of the object and the rapid adjustment of the knife. For precise alignment of the specimen and the knife, the specimen clamp can be tilted through 10 degrees in any direction by means of two knurled screws. Knife moves horizontally towards the specimen, either automatically or manually. Knife can be rapidly adjusted by hand, over a range of 36mm. Each unit is complete with specimen cassette clamp or universal block clamp. Each unit has a standard microtome knife holder. The 1512 ROTARY MICROTOME offers the ability to produce uniform sections of paraffin-embedded materials in demanding routine work.
