Leitz Tele-Elmar M 135/4 Lens.  Comes with Hood 12575 and 2 Caps.

Lens No: 2084756 - Made in Germany.

Glasses are clean and coatings in good shape.

Against strong light one can see some static dust.

Aperture Blades are dry and operation PERFECT.

Focus SMOOTH, FIRM and without any back-lash.

Focus Wheel shows minor paint loss.  Hood shows some scuffs and signs of use - Otherwise the lens is PRISTINE.

Lens has two unique features :-

1. Rear Lens Hood, which is VERY RARE.

2. Feet are engraved in Red.

I read about the rear hood several years ago, but could never find one.  Leica did not have any remaining stock of this hood, when I tried to find one in 1990.

No Box or Packing.

Red Leica Display  - NOT INCLUDED.

Can be hooked upto reflex equipment, as shown below.  To insert the optical head of this lens into short mount 16464, please remove the rear lens hood.  Nothing shown in the picture below is included, except the optical lens head, which does belong to the offered lens :-
