For many of you who will undoubtedly bid on this item, there may be no need to read this. This is an unbelievably sharp and water resistant binocular with the old Wetzlar lead glass. Lead glass is 100 times more viscous during blowing assuring the most even consistency in each lens element. It also posses unique refractive and transmittive properties rendering superior lowlight performance and increased contrast in a very compact package made possible by the very short focal length which high refractive index optics can achieve. If you're stepping up from something Japanese, prepare to be blown away.
