Up for bids are a pair of Antique Lemaire Fabi of Paris Binoculars or Opera Glasses. They are in unbelievable condition for their age. These differ from others I have seen in that there is so much Mother of Pearl. The entire eye pieces, slides and body all MOP panels. There are a total of 74 pieces inlaid on this piece! Superb workmanship. Lens are in excellent condition as is the whole piece. Adjusts very smoothly. It is marked quite a few times on the brass but I will leave it up to the collector to know what they mean. It is marked with the "BEE", "61", "MADE IN FRANCE", "K19988". They measure 3" when extended and 3 7/8" wide. Case has some wear (see pics) but has "Bee" mark on clasp and works properly. Handle is in tact with no tears and hinges are intact. There are no chips, or cracks in the MOP anywhere. A proper brass cleaning and you are about as close to mint as your going to get. Ask any questions you may have. SEE MY OTHER ITEMS!
