The full spectrum light comes from the 30 watt 5,000 Kelvin compact flourescent bulb.  The bulb has a life of 10,000 hours.  Replacement bulbs are $6.00 plus shipping.  The mirrored reflector increases the intensity and focus of the light.  The acrylic diffuser on the reflector filters out the UVA and UVB Rays.

Indoors at home the light levels are 200 - 500 lux
