Selling a very choice lightning rod ball -- a 5" Swirl pattern gold merc, with Cole Bros. aluminum caps, that has never been outside. Ball is in great condition except for a dent on one of the ball's caps and a little silver nitrate that has come off the inner surface right by and around one of the ball's caps (see pic). Bright merc ball with just a couple very small spots of aging in merc (very, very small areas). Overall consistency of inner nitrate is intact and smooth. Caps are like new and no wear. Tube in ball is like new and no rust, not even light surface rust, just some little areas of age from oxidation. Caps affixed to tube but one is a little loose. No cracks or holes or defects to ball. Pic of ball is a good repesentation of brightness. Not a reproduction!!! Old and authentic.
